We are looking for the qualified and experienced " Safety Engineer " candidates.
Job Purpose:
Safety Engineer generally manages the EHSS requirement at a Running Plant, construction site, turnaround works etc. He works in either in an office or/and onsite under OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* He must be able to develop and prepare safety plan based on safety policy of the organization and statutory requirements.
* Asses and analyze the materials to be used on site in order to design proper signage and disposal methods.
* Prepare and Maintain safety records and submit it to the authorities whenever required.
* Responsible for preventing accidents in business and job sites.
* Ensure that different workplaces meet safety and health requirements and then apply corrective measures if necessary.
* They create programs such as company policies, investigate in cases of accidents, and implement post-injury follow up procedures for workers.
* Oversee PPE requirements.
* Reviewing accident reports.
* Applying safety procedures.
* Ensure that govt. and organizational safety laws are being observed.
* Determining unsafe conditions. He must provide appropriate safety and health, accident prevention, and investigation training for supervisors at site.
* Conduct periodical inspection of workplaces to assure safe and healthful conditions for workers. Prepares appropriate notices for management to issue for abatement of any identified hazards.
* Provides promotional materials and develops and administers recognition systems to promote safe and healthful work performance.
* Assists management and supervisors in investigating accidents and developing measures to prevent recurrences.
* Maintain EHSS records in a timely, complete, and accurate manner.
Experience: 5-8 years or Above
Qualification:
* Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Safety Management, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Basic or Applied Science, Environmental Science, or any other related subject.
* Must have undergone on-the-job training programs for applicants in order to provide suitable skills and knowledge for future duties.
